It sucks coming across illegal grows on public land. After the first shock of realizing you might have a scope on you, I almost always see a ton of trash; fertilizer bags, garbage bags, irrigation bits and pieces.

The private ops are usually a trash pit as well. If they wanna live in a dump and make a few thousand dollars a year, fine by me. I can't stand the trash on public land and the illegal water diversion is despicable.

Some are, others aren't. There are plenty of Indians that truly care about their environment and even their traditional way of life. There is a number from every tribe though that has been born into a meagre handout system. A small monthly paycheck accompanying a ratty res trailer is no way to live, but the prevalent drug and alcohol abuse keeps them there and gives a reason for the tribe to maintain their casinos. It's a sad circle.

It will be convenient to blame the coming fish kill on the pot growers.  Its almost like its an orchestrated setup that was conceived months ago.

Same story every year.
maybe they should not let them (begin to) grow on public land,,,,then they wouldn't have to spend so much of my misappropriated tax dollars on it.
