Late notice.....I'm splashing down in the port in the morning.  Dune Outback and channel 69.  Anyone else?

Thanks kokoloco. I was not able to get someone to cover me at work to go.

Good luck and get 'em!

Where do u guys launch your kayaks when you fish the port? I visited the sailing club and that water looks nice and fishy.

Nice I was there that day as well, got an 18 inch striper, some pretty jumbo gills (over hand size), and a dink 12 inch bass. Also missed a much larger striper on live bait.

Seems you had a more action packed day then me though.

When the top water bite starts the fish count gets better.  My personal best came from the port ....7#er!  Most fish I caught were on a white Speed Trap crankbait.

Nice I have a ways to go on a 7# bass! I have seen a 7 in there and a few 4's but 3# is my best in there for a largemouth. I don't spend all that much time at it till that summer topwater action though.
