Sale of the year!
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Just picked up 3 in Windsor on my way home. Should be good for the season.

Use the right fuel for the job. This is my UDS fuel. I have various hardwoods to add for smoke flavor depending on the job.  Lump  mesquite charcoal for the grill is good too, would be wasted in the UDS.

A base layer of charcol...then when the meat goes on....a handfull of the Real_Deal Mesquite on top for cracklin and flavorin.

Hopefully my first post made it clear I was joking!  :smt006  As Crash mentioned, use the right fuel for the job.  I often use both, a  base layer of briquettes topped with lump.  The lump gives me a nice hot flame at first for foods I like to either char or cook quickly, then they burn off leaving the base layer of briquettes to finish off the foods that require more time too cook.

HD and Lowes runs killer sales on Kingsford on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends as well, that's usually when I stock up.

when i first used the lump, i started it, and then waited for the "ash-over" thinking it was the same as charcol, came back 20min later and it was all turned to ashes. WTH?  :smt005

Lump can pull a marathon, too. You just gotta keep adding a little more and stay on top of your BBQs vent to control the burn rate.
