Hi all,

It has been a while since I registered but haven't had a chance to introduce myself. I live in San Francisco and have been kayak fishing for over 5 years now. However, my experience is limited to CA delta and small lakes. Although I fish for rockfish out of a small inflatable boat fairly often, my experience with the big pond is very limited. I fish off a Straightedge from Advance Elements for now but plan to get a Prowler 13 Angler soon. Hope to post some great photos and reports in the near future.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I love fishing the ocean and would love to explore the central coast, and there is nothing better than having experienced fishermen showing me the ropes. Hopefully, I will fish with you guys soon. I have all the necessary equipment from wetsuit, PFD, VHS.... Just need to find a better kayak for the big pond.

Thanks. It sounds great. I've been trying to rent different kayaks before deciding which one to get. Please let me know when you plan to get otw.

This looks good, but I think I am going to get a new one. My budget is around $1000, so I will look around for good deals.
