I picked up the latest edition of this magazine. It is a Baja Special and has a section about kayak fishing and camping in Baja.
I swear there is a pic of Sean White ( Scwafish ) setting up a tent. Is that you Sean??

Hey Mike..

Could be, I just saw him on Channel 7 news tonight talking about the Chinook Salmon on the Russian River.  He does seem to get around.

That White guy sure gets around. Yep, that was Sean setting up the tent, kinda the 'before' picture. The 'after' picture - Sean, throwing the double middle finger salute to the wind-flattened wreckage. A fine Baja moment.

The back of Sean's head also appears in page 39, busting through the surf. Not the back of his head, the kayak. And Chef is there too, in the far, far, far, background. I sent in cool pics of Sean and Steve, but the editor left them out. I guess he liked the back of Sean's head better than the front.  :smt001

I'm pretty sure Leah feels the same way  :smt010

That was a great trip, and what a crappy tent!  Pretty much shattered my faith in modern Coleman camping gear.

Chef~Looked like your tent was in the photo to the left of Seans. Do you have a truck with an Okuma sticker on the back?

We all had the joy of sharing the same crap-o-la tent.  When it got windy at night it went from tent to shrink-wrap as it layed down on top of us...very nice! :smt013

but that's what made it so much fun.....think about a tent that can shrink wrap you when its windy..... then we become aerodynamic :smt003
