I'll be there if all healed up. I'm now cancer free for the moment. I hope that July 11 hali tournament and BBQ and grand opening of our local Hobie shop will be my first this yr. And Albion the second.

Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Sounds like I need to stay in the 12-16ft range? And btw rob im 6'2 190...

I would say 12 minimum and longer if you can afford it. I am the same size as you and paddle a Tarpon 160 just about everywhere in ANY conditions.
If you can afford it and if you can pick it up and if you can fit it in your house!  :smt002
A good kayaker picks a house based on his/her kayak storage needs ... not the other way around :smt002

I am doing this as we speak. Too many houses I'm looking at have had their garages converted to living space... Not gonna cut it.

If all else fails, it needs to at least have enough room in the backyard to build a yak-shak to store them in.

Garages are for yak's, driveways are for cars/trucks.

Yeah. I need enough space to store 2 yaks plus gear, who knows how many fishing rods, 3 bikes, one windsurfer, and 6 or 7 surfboards. Plus a little room for a work bench would be nice...

Any time bud, I went to Avila today and tried for some butts but had absolutely no luck. I didn't even get a hit. I can't say anything against wide boats. I went and looked at a PA 14 today. I'm trying to decide if I sell my outback and upgrade to either a PA or a slayer 13.
