I have yet to use the sail kit for our new oasis, but I can imagine that having amas would be nice when the sail is up. Anyone have one that they tried and didnt like or just dont end up using?

thanks

Isao

Hobie has been pretty good addressing any problems with the sidekicks. http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=34852.msg372263#msg372263

I think they are a good idea if you are going to sail. The AI and TI are better for serious sailing though.

Scott, one day we may make the step to tandem AI, [emoji3] I emailed hobie and they said to be careful bc the sail kit was not meant to handle serious winds/speed.

it seems like the amas are a must for pushing the sail to its full potential
