Welcome,

Halibuts and Salmon seem to be the craze as of recent. I'm hitting the Berkeley Flats and Emeryville for Halibut on Saturday, your welcomed to join. You can even toss for Stripper too.

Welcome! I'd say go launch at Barge Canal Access, calm waters. I'm still rigging my first kayak up or else, I'd be out there already. GL and have fun!
