I still haven't had the pleasure fishing SWS yet!?
Question: Is it possible to park a trailer in the parking areas there?
I want to bring my inflatable with 6hp engine? It's a hard bottom but fits perfectly on weelz. can go down the ppnt stairs so hopefully it will be able to do sws stairs.?
Thanks
Ken

The parking area to unload is quite small.  Early in the morning, you could make a u-turn in front of the building & back in BUT by the time you are ready to re-load, there will be no way to do that.  I have seen people load/unload/carry an aluminum boat down the stairs (1 person by himself) but it was truck topped.  Truck topping/bed would be the only realistic way I could see that as possible.

Thanks for the info. I actually can unhitch and pull the trailer (4'X8' utility) by hand.
Is there any long parking spaces to park the trailer hitched to car? Or I can unhitch and take up a second space. Just don't want any complaints. I don't mind walking a bit.
Thanks

Looks like there is a lot of parking up by the Tennis courts or across the street from that.  I think Jim said it is like a 1/4 mile walk?

It really depends on the day.  If it is a Saturday right after the RF opener then it's going to be a zoo.  If it is a weekday in the middle of the summer, no worries.

Are you talking a handcarry like rickshaw style?  Any day with appreciable cars/visitors, you will likely be unable to manually pull by hand a trailer from the parking hedge to the launch, rack your boat, then haul ass back to the hedge, without causing undue disturbance/delay.

The SWS Pier has a small craft boom winch.  if anyone ever got the keys to that baby . . .
