Been using my new laptop pack a Condor Venture pack (Coyote tan)  now for about a month.  Took it through San Jose and Arizona Skyharbor airports recently with no problems.  I did discover that the right shoulder strap tends to press onto my collar bone when I don't use the cross chest strap.  The pack holds everything I need, and has room for my new tablet wife got me for my B-day.  The clamshell case on the left side on the pack is a hard case I keep my reading glasses in, I need to get another one for my sunglasses.  I reused my old EDC pouch, it now holds 2 16oz water bottles or 1 larger one.
I can now find my TomTom GPS quicker if needed, It's home is in the lower zippered compartment in the main compartment. My PDA (Yes I still use a PDA! too many passwords for Intel to remember!) lives in the admin pouch ands is quickly retrieved when needed.
There is a small compartment that holds manila file folders, and magazines perfectly, before my files had to share the laptop compartment. In the top picture, the two zippers, show that file holder place.
The last picture, showing dark pocket, it felt lined and made to hold things that you don't want to be scratched, sun glasses, phones etc.  I keep my wireless mouse and ear plugs in it there's a cell phone charger pictured, but it doesn't reside there now.
Overall I'm pleased with the pack.  I'm sure I'll be playing with the strap adjustments for a time to get the carry fit proper, but for now it's doing ok.

  Update:
Almost a year has passed now since I got my venture pack! (4/22/14) The pack is holding up extremely, zippers all still work, no frayed sewed joints, no wear marks on the bottom. EDC items have found their respective residence with in the pack, (Pens, sharpies, business cards, Tylenol\Ibuprofen, cold meds, back scratcher, lip balm, etc..) I've recently added carrying 10 big cable ties wrapped up in my Shemagh, as I've needed some at one point and didn't have them and a single larger piece of fatwood, that I added a simple paracord loop to.
My first aid kit has it's place and I know where its at in the pack in the dark, (Which really isn't a problem as I have 2 LED lights attached to the pack and my daily carry mini-mag on my belt 24/7) It's traveled through AZ, Oregon, NM and Ireland with no problems. lived out of the pack while traveling to Ireland with the unexpected airport delays. I will say though, the pack makes for a lousy pillow! unfortunately. lol
I'm pleased with the pack! Last weight on the pack was @ 22 lbs. with laptop, chargers, full water bottle, and camera
Below are pictures taken this morning of the added items (Sun glass/reading glass cases, etc..)
