Mussel Inspections

I fish Contra Loma Reservoir in Antioch a lot, and they're pretty strict out there.  Matter fact my picture is of that very reservoir.  They were giving me hell about the scratches on my kayak and saying it was quagga mussel babies.  The guy let me go but he said if a certain lady was there, she definitely would have dq'd me.  So to does depend on the individual inspector on that day.

Get a Magnifying for some Idiot.

I parked in the inspecting area walked over to kiosk lady had me fill out a paper basic info and said I'm good to go never even walked up to my truck. .

You must have signed it 'beerhunter' and she knew your yak wasn't even gonna touch the water...

Funny u mentioned the magnifying glass.  One of the park rangers called the office and asked if somebody had a magnifying glass, I said , really? 

I think I'll start carrying a magnifying glass.  Might get me through an inspection I'd otherwise fail, but even if it doesn't, I can embrace my inner pyro.

These inspections make me feel about as safe as the TSA agents at the airport
