hello all i was wondering if any one has heard of: Lake Calero, lake chesbro, lake clementia and bass lake they are all located off if highway 16 near the dillard road exit i was wondering if there was any fishing in any of the lake or if they were open to the public at all

All of those lakes are on the Rancho Murieta propety. RM is a private, gated community.

Bass lake was Once noted for its lunker largemouth bass, this Mother Lode lake is now home to a unique strain of cutbows that have steelhead genes in their lineage. ... sounds like we need to check this place out.

That sounds like Lake Amador near Ione.

Only once. Many years ago I helped my son's church youth group fish the large lake. I didn't fish, but the kids had fun catching panfish and a few little bass.

I have heard there are some nice bass there. Maybe I should look into it..my in-laws live on the RM golf course. I think a resident has to be with visitors while fishing..my in-laws are a little too old for that.


Pat....Amador is an interesting little lake. Like you said...sounds like we need to check this place out.
