Hi, my name is Travis and I live in antelope. If you don't know where that is its part of sacramento county. Just bought myself a kayak last week. It's a wilderness systems tarpon. I'm a young guy only 22 years old but been a avid fisherman as long as I can remember. Mostly been a trout fisherman but now that I bought a kayak I was thinking about getting into bass fishing some more. I have Wednesday's and Thursday's off work so it's hard for me to find people to go fishing with since most my friends have weekends off. Figured since I'm new to kayak fishing and bass fishing might try and pick your guys brains on some techniques or tips.

Yep, your in the right place.   There are a lot of sac guys here. And they often post up in the meetup section. Keep an eye out on that page.

Welcome aboard

As the days get longer.... We will get out more mid week evenings. Welcome to the group :smt006
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Welcome, Travis. You would be surprised to learn how many people near you go kayaking on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
