Hey folks,
SoCal guy heading up to Sacramento for a teacher's conference.  Decided to head up a few days early and fish the port of Sacramento.  Was wondering if there were any campgrounds that people could recommend in/near West Sacramento.  I did a google search and found a few options, but I thought the good people from up north might have a better suggestion.  Also, I will be fishing from 2/28-3/3.  I'll be on a red Malibu X-Treme and am on Ch. 68 if anyone wants to say what's up.  Thanks in advance!

I believe there's a KOA in W. Sac.

Snug Harbor is on my list of places to try down that way this year, if you stay there let us know how it is, on the delta south of W. Sac

Snug Harbor is no where near the Port, but they have some awesome Park model trailers for rent.  Not sure about camping there.  Retired Elem. Principal here.  You may want to check out Ko-Ket Resort, and day trip to the Cosumnes Preserve.  Awesome bassing in there and close to Ko-Ket.  A Port outing would be possible from there- 40 minute drive up I five.

Cosumnes Preserve looks pretty fishy.  Might have to split my time if I have enough.  Thanks for the recommendations.
