Weather and work permiting I am thinking of going to Del Monte on Thursday morning. This will be my first fishing attempt out of a yak. I am thinking of throwing out the crab traps as well.

Man that sounds really tempting.  While I have fished the area quite a few times I have yet to drop my crab traps and have been looking for the opportunity.  All I need now is a scheme for getting out of work that day.  Maybe if I work from home I can do a half day in the afternoon and fish/crab in the AM.  Or maybe it is just time for another day off.  I am still not sure if I can work it out but the wheels are turning.

Mike,

I decided to go ahead and take the day off.  I will bring my PC home in case I get home it time to put in a half day but right now fishing/crabbing is on the ajenda for Thursday! Wahoo  :smt003 hope the weather holds.  Call me on my cell or send me a PM to coordinate the meeting time.  I live 10-15 minutes from the launch so you will have a longer drive than me.  See you there.

Hey scubamike, I sent you my phone but no reply yet  :smt009 .  I am all loaded up and ready so I plan to be at MBK about 7+/- unloading and getting ready to launch.  I will look for you and monitor ch 69.  I plan to go north toward the hotel.  Give a call or leave a message on my cell as I will not hear it after I go to bed.  See ya.
