Can't speak for everyone but in Eureka proper it was never violent.  About 12-15 seconds of a roller.  A few pictures on the wall off kilter but that's it.  It didn't even bother my dog, and he usually hates earthquakes.

What crash said. A little bit of a shaker but no damage in south Eureka. Just another day in paradise.
