size weight for drifting bait

What size weight should i use for drifting bait in San Luis Reservoir?

I am assuming you intend to mooch bait in a freshwater lake, is this what you intend to do? The amount of weight you use can vary depending on what you are trying to achieve. Are you mooching live bait? I would start with as little weight as possible and still remain at target depth.
