Noyo waves

Last week I took some video of large waves at Noyo.  The waves are similar today so I decided to try and post a link from Vimeo as a test.  For those of you that have fished out of Noyo pay attention to the green buoy as size reference.

I know right.  I snuck out to try my new Banks board on Thursday and was practicing surf entry. That was fun.  DFW stopped by to see my fish and said he did not think anyone would be out.  I did not go near  the rocks.  Was only able to stay out for 2 hours because it was a workout.

Pfft, piece of cake! Albion is worse than that every year. 
There is a video I seen of a commercial boat trying to get back into the harbor and damn near capsizes. That vid had me on the edge of my seat!

I should have videoed Stillwater Cove today it wasn't much better.  Ghost Tree was breaking big.  Stopped there after spending hours in the rain waiting for bandtailed pigeons in the "gap" at Los Padres.  Saw one flight all day.  Duck popping tommorrow.

Man, that was scary. It's such a tight little slot getting in and out of there. Last season some idiot carpet bombed the area between jetty and the been can with pots with 100' shots and no weight and floating rope. I got 2 in the wheel,  stalled out and nearly went on the rocks.  All of this while fishing alone.

I have seen some pretty pissed off boaters because of the stupid placement of crab pots.  I am sure some get cut or moved during the season.
