Loved your report I miss Living in country like that. Something city people don't understand. Took a neighbor camping he was afraid of coming across a bear. Well I did and knew what to do. glad he wasn't with me he was across the camp ground and I'm sure he would have ran. The bear and I looked at each other, I yelled at him and he went his way I went mine and my friend saw a bear. Yes it is nice place to live but my wife could never take the snow and cold. So I live as close as I can. 2.5 hrs away from Sierras and 30 min from the ocean. I get jealous reading some of your post. But had my parents stayed in Idaho panhandle. I'm sure I would have died by now.
