Wanted: Old rod and reel for home made downrigger.

I'm thinking of putting together a home made downrigger and need an old beater rod and reel. Does anyone know where I can get some old stuff? Does anyone have one?

e-bay, and do yourself a favor and get an old line counter reel for the downrigger.

You will need to put a power handle on it too.....
