Quarry Lakes in Fremont 11-2

My son bailed on me.  Did not want to go to Chabot on a rainy day.  So, I went to Quarry.  Got there at 6am.  Website still says 6, but Raymac and the sign posted at the gate said 7am.  Oh, well had breakfast at the Burger King.

I got 2 bass today.   A smallmouth  (14") and a small large mouth (11").  I only fish for trout...NO TROUT.  Trolling at 15-20 ft deep with a downrigger and silver & org needlefish.  Fished from 7:30am to 12 (noon).  3 days of paddling  (Quarry-Del Valle-Quarry) and I am beat.

Good job Ken. Just after Quarry and Del Valle I was beat. Next time give me a holler I could have gotten you to a better breakfeast place just down Decoto Rd. Was up at 5 am with domestic duties so could have hooked up for coffee.

OK Frank....will call.  Going to look up your address on Yahoo maps.  So, next time I will find it and not get lost.
