Trick or treat @ Shelter Cove

Depending on wind I will head to either Shelter Cove, the Cape, or Trinidad for what could be a final lingcod and rockfish trip of the year and may do an ab dive as well on Halloween.  The swell is forecast to be low - 3'-6', so it looks promising, especially with how rough it's been lately...  Anyone interested in hooking up for the day is welcome.  Chime in here and/or PM or email me.  Looking to catch, photo and release a big spawner ling if possible.

Looks like I may go Monday rather than Tuesday - wind is better.  I'll update later.

Forecast is jumping around, so I'll likely have to make the call Sunday...  Jonesin' here!   

Still up in the air about when and where to go as the wind and swell are squirly as hell up here right now.  Yesterday's NWS forecast called for 3' swell today and it's 10' out there now...  Wednesday looks decent, but SE winds of 10-15 knokts and building sound like a good way to get blown offshore - not cool!     I just talked to Brandi and we're aiming for a potential Wednesday hookup.

Well, Brandi has to work and the wind is still squirly and unpredictable, so I guess I'll save my yakking and fishing energy for another time.  Stay tuned!
