Rancho Seco 10/28/06

On the lake around 8:45am, off at 11am.

Nice morning on the lake. No wind and only two other boats on the water. Tried most everything. Not a bite, no hits, nothing. Cruised around my usuall hot spots and all I saw were a couple small lmb. The bass must have moved into deeper water. I did see the swans. They have returned to winter here.

I'll hold off coming here again until the winter trout plant or the spring bass bite.

One of my goals this winter, is to learn how to fish the Winter LMB bite.  If folks in the Midwest can catch fish in 45 degree water, then why can't we ?
