So I skipped the mid-week flat and windy day, and I haven't yakked on the ocean since I met up with Sonny 4 weeks ago yesterday at the Cove for a brief run.  I'm past Jonesin' - must be McGillicuttyin' or something...   :smt005  I'll decide where tomorrow - gotta hit the end of the day -1.6' tide either near Petrolia or Trinidad for old-growth ab hunt and maybe fish a bit.

If by chance there's someone within range of this signal I'd love to have company!   :smt002

Dude, if only I was closer to your neck of the woods because my wife won't let me fish the ocean alone. And despite the influence my testosterone, I think she's showing good judgment.

I bailed on the Forebay because the 1-800 wind line was down so I couldn't get a windage reading and given the rise in temps its likely the winds over the pass picked up. So of course the wife jumped on the opportunity to load up the 'Honey-do' list. At least I got incremental WAF points today. Beautiful day. Wishing I was in a kayak on the Big Blue. the swell and wind down here didn't seem to appetizing though. Maybe its better up your way.

Thanks, Marmot, we'll hook up some day...   :smt001

I ended up working on the house and then taking the wife and kids over the hill to play in the tidepools at the end of the day.  Grabbed an ab in my street clothes for dinner this week - it was a great tide and there was actually clear water inshore - would've been nice to poke around with the spear, but had fun discovering tidepool stuff with the kiddos.  Still need to get in my boat!   :smt012
