AB diving Closing day 2014(report)

I dove today at Casper Cove with a couple of friends to close the 2014 season out. conditions were great vis at the bottom was about 10 - 15 feet.  I managed 3 ABs(nothing worth bragging about) but I did shoot my first dive video.

Nice job on the vid, Sarge!   

Advice if you want it:  get the edge of your iron under the edge of the shell and shove it in farther before prying.  Sometimes just shoving it in will pop the ab loose, and if it's not in far enough sometimes you pry the shell off the meat.  I wish I had some clear water like that close to home - my spot was banging 10' all day, so I skipped it...

Glad you got out on a good vis day.  I ended my ab season thanksgiving morning.  Can't wait till next year but will improve on my spearfishing skills.  Let me know when you want to go out again.  Going to start verm hunting soon.
