I will likely be persuing salmon on Sunday, I am just not sure where yet.

Are you planning to drift from one launch site to another, like Howe to disco?  If not, where are you planning to launch?

I may see you there, if not, good luck.

I'll be salmon fishing Sunday, but I'm not sure where. Either Howe or on the Sac.(Garcia or Miller park).

Keeping an eye on the sniffer reports to help me decide.

KJ, Got the okay for Sunday so call me and we can plan this as driving ourselves or tandem. Will be at Stevens Creek tomorrow but should be home by late afternoon. Brain I have a lumber rack that will acommodate at least two Kayaks and a Dakota with a back seat. would be cramped but doable. Three way on gas would be okay with me. Also have a camper shell which I have had my revolution 13'5" under and tied down.

I'm planning on salmon fishing tomorrow early.Launching from Howe to the footbridge @ the college, then paddle back up to Howe. This morning as I drove over Fair Oaks/ J Street bridge I saw a bead line of maybe 10 guys fishing below the bridge in the channel next to the first island.Usually there are 2 or 3 on week days so maybe they are picking up some fish. Took a little drive this morning to scout the area.

Garcia Bend: Trash at the fish cleaning station was empty, just stink and flies. Talked to a couple boaters coming in. One said he caught a salmon jigging. Others had nothing. :smt012

Miller Park: Took out my binocs to check stringers. The boats I could see had nothing hanging over the side.  :smt011

Howe Ave ramp: Talked to three boats coming in. All got skunked but they said a couple were caught by other boaters. They also said one kayak was on the water and had one hooked but lost it. SteveO????

Walk bridge 10:30am: Could see one boat at the pump, 4 more below the bridge. Didn't see any stringers or kayaks.

I was hoping the rain would pick things up. Anyway, I'll be at Howe tomorrow and will stay in that area, no drift.

This morning I did hook up by the tower but didn't even get to see it, pretty much stayed deep till my lure popped off.It was fun while it lasted.I was using a Blue Fox #5. My FF said there was several schools passing thu,not that many rolling on the surface. The only fish I saw landed was about 6:30.May venture out early sun- must go up the hill to Tahoe in the afternoon. So might see you guys on the water.   Steve-o
