Hello All,

I am new to the forum.  I don't own a kayak yet, but I have been investigating kayak options.  I normally fish out of a 19 foot whaler in the bay, mostly for stripers.

I was also curious if there was anyone out there from the Pinole area?

Thanks,
Ryan

Welcome to the madness Ryan!  :smt006  I used to live a couple towns over in Rodeo before moving to Pleasant Hill.  I'm pretty sure there are several NCKA members in the Pinole Hercules area.  Hope to see you on the water soon!

I'm new to the forum too.  I'm in Tara Hills and usually launch kayak and boat out of Richmond.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  I am just now exploring kayak fishing options.   Any advice on a good Kayak for a bigger guy at 6'4" 255?

I also launch the boat out of Richmond and Loch Lomond, and out of Martinez during the winter.  I was curious if there was anyone who launches their kayak in the Pinole area, Rodeo, or Hercules somewhere.

I'm in Richmond, by the Casino. I fish alot, and would dig having some others close by to berate about getting on the water. Fly, salt, rivers, shore foraging, I'm down. Welcome to the site! Hit me up anytime, would love to share knowledge of the area.

Welcome  :smt006. I'm just across the bridge in Vallejo. Pretty good fishing out this way for stripers and sturgeon.
