Hey everyone!

So i'm looking into getting a Hobie Adventure or Tandem Island, Preferably used. I enjoy fishing alone from my kayak but a tandem sounds tempting because i'll be able to share the experience with friends and family, since they love fishing as well. I can pick up just about anywhere in the Bay Area. Thanks :smt003

awesome machines and a good bet to find one as some pick these up and soon find it's too much for them…

Good luck and talk to CC&K, they had a hell of a deal not to long ago one with a trailer

I am thinking about upgrading to the 2015 AI. Have a 2013 Dune AI loaded with goodies. $3500, low use.

Fairly strong. 175 and work out 5 days a week. I'm focused on the Tandem now  :smt007

3k range for a tandem. I found an AI for 2k and a TI with a trailer for 3.5k. Far drive though.

CC&K is California Canoe and Kayak in Oakland. I was searching for a AI last month and CC&K had the best prices on new and used demos.

I looked at two used AI's and found this thread useful:

And this one shows the changes through the years.

I picked up a 2011, in Nov. 2012.  Might be looking at a 2015 so my 2011 (used ~5x) might become available complete with tramps, rod holders & lowrance HDI ready setup.  Kept on a trailer with Hobie craddles.  Trailer NOT included though.

No.  Single.  Tandem is a beast that just didn't interest me because I generally go solo and a tandem is not an ideal solo for me.
