Hey all, decided to join up. Already a member of NWKA for about 3 years now. Hail from the great North Bend/Coos Bay area up here in Oregon. I'm a lifelong fly flinger and at home either in the salt or freshwater. I have the Ocean Kayak Big Game prowler in yum yum yellow.

Sandshred- We live just south of the North Bend Bridge so in the summertime we can hear them at nighttime running the dunes. Didn't really get into it but use to hunt deer and elk real heavy out there not so much now. Still do a lot of fishing in the sanddune lakes and Tenmile Creek for trout, largemouth bass, steelhead and searuns. jhfish- Sorry about the typo guess one shouldn't try and work a graveyard shift then go surfing for a couple of hours sleep for a couple and try and sign up and post all the while the cat is trying to look kiity porn up. :smt017

Welcome, there's a few of us fly guys.  But I'll admit I'm a noob to the salt fly. If I'm in a river it's all fly. Still all conventional though on the blue. I do take the 9wt with me. Need to commit to figure it out.
