Which would be the best one for ocean kayak fishing? 83/200 or the 50/200?

Try the search for some good threads on this. 83 seems to be the choice for most kayak fishermen. Unless you go way out to catch a tuna, Something I will never try on a yak personally. I am sure someone will disagree. Smile .

Depends on species & depth.  Shallow water salt or fresh, then 83.  Salmon or deeper water (~100+) then I suggest 50.
