Got 2 trout, 19" (3.1 Lbs) & 17" (2.9lbs).  Got them on a silver & org. needlefish.  Trolling down at 25ft.  Had another 14" or 15" but my other rod was snagged on the bottom and the fish wrapped around that line.

Got 2 small smallmouth 11" & the other about 8".

Long day from 8am to 5pm.  But, I will be there tommorrow.

try quarry lakes regional park search  then city of fremont quarry lakes
 plan on trolling there tomorrow myself. non kayaker but have your interest at heart.enjoy your posts

DAM!!! Thems' BIG TROUT !! and smallies too!  :smt007  25ft down?..w/dwnrggrs?  :smt012  I always hear/read of these lakes and you HOOKED EM' GOOD!! Is the LOW WIND/OFFSHORE FLOW days the way to go? I think I heard of no cover there when the wind is blowing.Are the lakes dowwn deep enough to kind of shelter you?  Thanks for the NICE SHOTS! and report! :smt006
