Quarry Lakes (Horseshoe Lake) 10-24

Got 2 trout, 19" (3.1 Lbs) & 17" (2.9lbs).  Got them on a silver & org. needlefish.  Trolling down at 25ft.  Had another 14" or 15" but my other rod was snagged on the bottom and the fish wrapped around that line.

Got 2 small smallmouth 11" & the other about 8".

Long day from 8am to 5pm.  But, I will be there tommorrow.

DAM!!! Thems' BIG TROUT !! and smallies too!    25ft down?..w/dwnrggrs?    I always hear/read of these lakes and you HOOKED EM' GOOD!! Is the LOW WIND/OFFSHORE FLOW days the way to go? I think I heard of no cover there when the wind is blowing.Are the lakes dowwn deep enough to kind of shelter you?  Thanks for the NICE SHOTS! and report!
