New guy here! A little background, I grew up on the east coast, fishing as soon as I could walk. 3 years ago I was transferred to the great lakes region. Now I will be in the bay area. I love fishing, compared to fishing my wife calls herself my mistress. Kayaking, camping, hiking, mushroom picking we do it all! [emoji1] I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions in the future. I'll be sure to use the search function first!

on a side note i saw Chantrelles at the seaside costco last night..back in the veggie cooler room...11 a pound....decent amount for rated@ a pound and looked fresh

Welcome! I'm pretty new here too but have been mushroom hunting all around the bay area since I was 13 so I know all the best spots. If you ever wanna talk mushrooms just let me know!
