What's up guys?

I've got a 7' ML Shimano Trevala that's in great shape. It's a good rod, but I'm just not sold on it. I think this is likely because I fish mono, not braid.

I would consider trading this for some sort of salmon/steelhead rod in the 7.5-8 ft length. Something that'll mooch well and work well with a downrigger. Think long, slow action, noodly rods.

Anyone got one they want to trade?

Need some specs.like is the trevala that you have a baitcaster or spinning, is it the regular trevala or the more expensive f series.and the rod your looking to trade for spinning or baitcasting.
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

It's a casting rod. This one:

What I am thinking of is a casting rod around 7'6" to 8'6",  medium action, M or MH, ideally with a trigger grip. To be used for salmon fishing, either with a downrigger or mooching.

John - I'm hoping for something a little longer. Thanks, though.

Hey Alex,
I have an Okuma SST C 8'6" 2pc M (8-17lb) I would be interested in trading. Only used once then upgraded to a G Loomis for my steelhead casting rod.

I have an old school Made in USA Fenwick E85C M-2 8'6" 6-17Lb
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Those all sound like they could work, but I think I'm just too picky. I'm probably just going to spring for a Lamiglas Classic Glass 8'6" MH.

Unless anyone wants to make a cash offer, I think that Trevala might just stay in my quiver as a backup.

Sorry for the runaround.
