i am thinking of entering the L R C and don't know the area. so loading the yak and driving up
to have a look and wet a line . any tips or pointers will be greatly appreciated

AB is loaded with structure and fish. If you're pre-fishing for LRC, try to remember the category species while otw. Bring several different category specific baits and fish different depths and types of structure. If you find some decent fish mark it and move on quickly. The rule of "never leave fish to find fish" doesn't apply to pre-fishing, just the opposite. The whole idea re pre-fishing is to cover as much water as possible n find those "honey holes" you can rely on tourney day.

Hey Setthehook, me and a couple of other guys are are launching out of TC on Sunday. I'm gonna troll south along the kelp line towards FT. Ross, then jig ling and rock fish on my way back up. Weather looks good, hoping for a long day.
