Maybe, bad.  Reports are North West 15-25 knots...Wind Waves 3-6 ft...North West Swell 6-8 ft. South Swell 3-4ft.

Half Moon Bay is protected from the North winds.  You may be able to make it out.  I would keep your bow off shore so you can see what the waves are doing farther out.

If you see it building (white caps & sneaker waves).  Do not cut across the reef ( If you are on the outside of the main reef).  Go around to the first green buoy. But, you do not need to go all the way out to the first green buoy..just stay in line with it and the harbor.  You should be in 40 to 60ft of water there and not 20 to 30ft. Come in that way.  Waves start to build over the 3 or 4 set of reefs out there.

Good Luck and play it safe.

Ken thanks for the report.  I'm not so sure that I want to battle any 6-8 foot swells.  Heck I got sick from the 2 foot swells last weekend at Bean.

Thanks again!
