Went out last night to meet up with Kickin' bass and my buddy Darin to see if the bite was still on.  By the time I got there they both had already landed nice fish...Doh! As I was getting my video junk ready Kickin bass got slammed again.  As soon as I got the video rolling, things got even better...

We ended the night with a few nice fish each, but all on the troll, no topwater :smt011  Are we getting spoiled?  YES!!

Kinda bummed the vid is so blurry on youtube.  I got a new program and firewire and the quality is amazing, but the files are toooo big to go to online :smt013

Sean, even at low resolution, it get's the Adrenalin pumping. Man you are so lucky to have that fishery in your backyard.

Great video Sean!  I like the whole helmet cam POV and the commentary lets the viewer really get into your head while you're fishing.  Do you always talk that much when catching a fish, or are you fairly conscious of being video taped and don't want dead air?

Agreed.  I am so thankful the the local CSBA guys keep the way it is too, without them it wouldn't exist.

Once I put on the camera-hat I pretty much forget about it except for turning it on/off (sometimes I forget to do that too).  Unfortunatley for my wife, I am a chatterbox.  Having had a beer or two before paddling on Sunday made me a potti-mouthed chatter box.  In particular at Mendo with the boys, when the weather is nice and the fish are schooled up, its a bit of social event.

Hey Sean - Just another day at the office, eh!?!  Just wondering, you simply carry your bait in a small cooler, do you have an aerator in there or are the baits hardy enough? How long will they go with no aerator? I like the fly rod but bait is killer! I'll be back!

Hey Sean,
Awesome vid and great fish! I do a lot of video for online delivery for my clients. If you want I could give you some tips about how to get the file sizes down while keeping the video quality very high.

Pelican-there is no aereator...they'l be fine in there all day unless you overload the bucket.

Zee-I would LOVE any advice you could offer.  This file was 150 MB as an MPEG and looked great.  Under this "web" setting it was 42 MB and looked like poop.  I just need to get them under 100 MB to fit youtubes criteria.
