I am in Anaheim CA plan to do some bass fishing here in these famous lakes an look forward fishing in N. Cal bass lakes and maybe some tourneys. 

Forgot I have family in Sacramento, will be stopping quite a bit to visit them and fish

Great, looking fwd to fishing with the locals.  I am introducing kayak bass fishing to my family in the Sacto area.  I used to fish Folsom, however don't know if it is still accessible?  I would like to share any fishing patterns, techniques that I have learned in TX (fished the Kayak bass tourney there and the power boating tourneys as well). Let me know, I get my Yak this Friday.

Welcome to the madness out here! When you get your kayak hit up the local bays and harbors for some spotted bay bass. You can use any sort of bass gear but I always liked 3" swim baits on 1/2 or 3/4oz heads. They are scrappy little bastards and fight better than most freshwater bass.

Thx Jfred2112 and Jbaker.  I will give you a heads up when I get up into SAC.  And will definitely hit the harbors here.  I was thinking of driving to Lake Havasu for a bass tourney on 10/18, we'll see.
