I recently got an X-factor and am installing my Humminbird ff.  I was able to modify the transducer mount so that I could attach it using the factory-installed bolt fittings at the bottom of one of the scuppers.  I ran the tranducer cable up through the scupper to the rear tank well.  There isn't any opening to run the cable under the deck of the yak so I plan to drill a hole as high as possible to minimize any leakage.  From there I would run the cable to one of the flat places on one of the gunnels near the tank hatch.  I am thinking of installing a track there with a hole for the cable at the end of the track.  Has anyone done something like this and/or have any advice?  The YakAttack track looks feasible for this application.

Hobie through hull fittings are great for this. They come in a 2 pack for $18 or some where around there. I like placing them on a vertical surface.
