I dont' know if this would be considered a "FISHING REPORT" but i did catch fish!  :smt044
There are a ton of "Bait sized" anchovies right outside the harbor. The bait is "Tray" sized
and really high quality. (Halibut, salmon RF). I typically freeze and seal the bait of this quality for
my salmon runs.

This may be a game changer for the upcoming tournament. :smt006

I was there last week and saw clouds of bait on the graph. Dropped the sabiki a lot and only came up with 2-3'' chovies. I was hoping for salmon, halibut sized ones… If you don't mind, what were you getting the good sized chovies with? Didn't get anything else either. Hard to believe nothing was under all that bait.

I got it on a small sabiki. I dropped an anchovy under the bait balls. There was holes in the bait ball so I was hoping a salmon would take it down or a halibut. Nothing went down.

Yeah, Won is Bluing agent horder. lol. He went to save mart and cleared the store of any left.

@jonesz i buy a small 14 size sabiki lure at Fishery Supply in San Jose. They sell the sabiki's for 1.75 each and pretty much works for most bait. This is probably the cheapest and most effective sibiki's around. The ones at Big 5, Sports Chalet and other places go for 3-4 dollars each, grossly marked up, and
don't even do as good. (In my opinion).
