dont know how many of you fish the mountain lakes,
usually i stay off them in the summer and hit them hard in the winter.
any how i went to ice house on saturday and hooked up a 4 lb brown.
there holding in 40 feet trolling broken back rebels. 3 hits in the morning and one in the yak.

Sure is purdy country up in them that rocks!  I can remember gazing at that lake from the Rubicon trail that skirts it.
Totally off topic but one year we set up a 2M beam antenna on the top of a section of road just out from the lake that had a view into the valley and with my 2M amp we made contact with a HAM friend all the back in Felton !

I will be up there this weekend,  doing some wheeling on the Con and hopefully I will get on the lake and fish some off the kayak.

What part of the lake were you on?

Might be up there this weekend trash diving. All depends on how much I feel like dealing with the crowds when I wake up.

Thanks for the report John.
i always do good at ( if you launch at the boat ramp near the dam, go directly across the lake untill you hit the shore hook a hard left and troll that shore lne untill your arms fall off. the wind should bring you back home. easy trolling.
