Salmon fishing on Sac river/Feather river

I am wondering if anyone is having any luck on the river this year. If so where can I go. Never been salmon fishing and would like to get out and catch some. New to kayak fishing and not ready for the ocean quite yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I fish the lower sac around rio vista. Didn't mark anything on Saturday morning. Only fished for 2 hours and called it. End of August is when the salmon really start pushing through.

cant wait still haven't got one from the yak yet... are you guys using jigs up there or what? the 2oz P-Line laser minnows? hot colors? pro cure scents?
