wondering if I`m the only one getting pop advertisements lately  when I log in or go to a thread is there anything I need to do on my end Thanks VK

Your computer has likely been hijacked by some crappy piece of software that is now selling your online habits to the highest bidder.  Happened to me recently when I was looking for an innocent free utility to read old MS Outlook data files and I trusted some download from CNET and somehow it 'included' a Youtube Accelerator program. Basically completely took over my browsers, even after I found and uninstalled the programs from the control panel.
