I'm going to take a few freshly prepared rabbits into work to bbq for the co-workers.  Anyone have any good recipe(s)????

   Thanks!

Thanks!  I don't cook rabbit all too often & usually it is someone else doing the cooking.  Figured I'd treat our crew to a little something different.  On the menu will be a few rabbits & a bundle of freshly smoked liguisa   :smt007

What kind of rabbit...? For jackrabbits I quarter, boil pieces until the meat separates from bone constantly scooping off the foam cap. After that I take the meat off the bone and pressure cook in a basic stew. Other than that I haven't been happy with jackrabbits BBQd yet.

For domestic fryers I really like making hasenpfeffer. Barcelona style pallea is good too, but hasenpfeffer is always a hit. Plus it's fun to say, especially in an Elmer Fudd voice.

They are domestic.  My kids won't let me hold their pet rabbits or take them for "a walk".  They are the equiv. of 4-H rabbits.
