Forebay Monday 10/9 afternoon

Despite my fishng today at Bean Hollow, my wife is allowing me a rare and cherished double-header so I am goinig to the Forebay Monday afternoon. Time: around 1200-1300 launch. Planned launch is Madeiros at the old boat launch to work Check #13 and the rip-rap dam to the corner while light and retreat to work the Madeiros Flats as dusk falls and even wade fish after dark until I cannot see my hand in front of my face: I'll quit when they quit d*mn it! Will monitor ch 69. Hail me if you are there.

Oh well--big bad Mr. Work threw a bucket of cold real-world water on me when  I got in to work this mornign as well. Yet again schedules are pushed up and I now have my day entirely booked. But with the indication that plenty of afternoons will be available next week...and there is always this Sunday or maybe Sat Afternoon.

Dan, let me know when your available to go out to the forebay. I need a days notice and Mondays are tough for me. I would love to work my 9wt with you. I'm still new with it but have a few strippers to my credit (non yak). Soon.....

I am planning this Sunday--it's risky won't be able to get there Sat with enough fishing time. I need to sit down and write up my Striper fly fishing tackle and technique details for the board. Then ask Bill to post it in articles.

I also need to stop dragging around the spinning gear and rarely using it. I should try to use it more as a challenge and broaden my perspective a bit.
