Fished from 7 AM till 9:30 AM. Got into a small boil of smaller fish, no hookups. Pretty slow and cold, air temp in low 50's, water was in mid 60's.
You just never know.

 Mako.
Sorry that your adventure was uneventful, but it makes me feel better.
I was headed to mendo yesterday AM and found that I wasnt able to  pass up blue lakes.  The fishing at upper blue was slow and the fish taken were in the 12" zone. And there was no sign of the monster that ive been stalking there the last few weeks. The conditions were cold and windy. Time to bust out the wet/winter gear

Well Juan, that's why we call it 'Fishing' and not 'Catching'  :smt003. Nice work giving it your all though. I am of the opinion that, just as it is the 'seams'  in structure and water (drop-offs, weedlines, thermoclines, mudl-lines, shorebreaks, rips, eddies, etc.), it is teh 'seams' in weather (i.e. the changes) that bring activity. So it was teh change that brought the action and now they've adjusted and settled in until the next change. Of course I have no empircal basis for this--just anecdotal and personal experience. Ah well, back to trying to turn 'fishing' into 'catching' at the Forebay. Sigh.  :smt012

Hey Kickin', I won't be able to make it to the lake friday.
Good luck to you and report any good news. I'm trying for saturday morning.
