Since I Can't Remember .........Stuff as of late I had to become proactive about it.
Before my last dive I couldn't find my knife and when I got home I discovered somehow I had lost my drivers license.
There is so much gear to have to remember to take I can't keep up with it all.
Tried the list thing. Not for me. I'll look at a list, see something like 'coffee pot' on the list. Look at the coffee pot but not remember to grab it to pack it. Usually because I'm distracted my someone else asking me to multitask while I'm trying to pack...yea right!
So here's my solution to ab diving essentials.
Beach towel sewn with pockets. Everything has it's own pocket and gets put there after I dive and after I wash everything off. Rolls up nice and tidy and packs well. Rolls out on my tailgate too for easy use.
That way I won't leave forgetting anything and I'll be able to see at a glance if everything I need is there.
I think this is going to work for me. Just need to remember to bring 'the towel'.  :smt044

That's a great idea, Mike. Are you the seamstress, too? You might be able to sell some of those to others of us who suffer from CRS due the OLD syndrome!

I am in the CRS group too, but I just end up leaving everything in the truck to beat this evil disease.  :smt003

Haha! Reminds me of this pic. This is me at Circle S in Two Rock. The waders were for the trail up to the targets, which was an absolute mud slop and the towel was for laying my rifle on.

My buddies were all laughing at the towel. I was like - "Would it be better if it was black and had dragons and skulls 'n shit on it?"  :smt003

**Edit - Just for kicks I went back and found my post with the towel in it here. I started taking shit for the towel on page 2...lol.
