A huge shout out to Eelkram (mark) for lending me his tandem yak so my sister and I could go catch the Giants game in the cove yesterday. We had a total blast even though the Giants lost.

I've never paddled a Perception kayak before but for the record, the Perception Tribe 13.5 Tandem is a McCovey Cove hell raiser!!  That thing turns on a dime with no rudder and is nice and wide. My sister in law could have ridden in style without ever paddling. It is so maneuverable and easy to paddle. It is also a pretty dry ride and there's enough deck storage front a rear for the necessities for each paddler.

We are seriously considering pitching on one to share. It would also be a great minimal fishing yak to take the kids out.

So anyway a huge thank you to Eelkram for your generosity and for helping out a stranger in need. Let's go fish the next time you come down to SC.
