Went out last Sunday and was on the water for 9 hours for nada. Thinking of trying again tomorrow out of Bolinas, still trying to get my first Salmon on my yak and the weather looks good. Anybody heading out tomorrow.

It's a scratch bite, but the skiffs and party boats are around ~Muir and north of it.

There isn't even a scratch bite at bolinas based on the reports that I've been reading. But, I've been reading about a scratch bite ~Muir.

How is that having a herd mentality? I'd rather have reliable recent reports and fish the general area.

Well the weather and wind is great but sounds like not quite worth it. Maybe I will do 350 miles up and down the coast on my motorcycle and wait for the bite to turn on. Thanks for all of the input might have saved me another 9 hours of paddling for nada again.

Man that's dedication.    Put in hours like that you DESERVE a salmon.

Well the weather was great sunny no wind about 100 boats out from Muir to Duxbury. Not sure if I made the right call but I was not into paddling for 9 hours again so I took of on my bike from San Carlos and rode over Mt. Tam, stopped above Stinson to look at the circus and all of the way up past Gerstle Cove than back.  Stopped at the Oyster farm on my way back, going to barbeque them soon. Great day for a ride 265 miles and no tickets.
