Is it really worth the extra money to jump up to a 3+ black? Or does the white 3 do the job? Pros and Cons please.

I go with the black because I rather have it and not needed.... I like the options but honestly the white is probably way more than the majority of people will need as far as quality. Black comes with wifi remote and some mounts. For kayak angling that's probably pretty useful but I also never use that.

Keep in mine the Gopros 4k and such is also useles if you don't have a computer to handle it. Even shooting in the lower 1080p I had to trash my first laptop and get a MacBook to handle it. I still sometimes have trouble viewing videos in higher quality.

I don't see any avatar next to your name, so I don't know about that.

Man, about the gopro, it's really comes down to what you think you are going to want to do with it.

Take a look and compare their specs.  Just keep in mind about the attachments you are going to need/want to buy next.  They add up too

I bought a cheap knock off for my deployment to "test run"....ended up not using it that much.  And when I do....it's works simple and easy and makes great videos. (And it has a remote that cost $10 extra)  If I decide upgrade.....I'll look for a used gopro
