very cool mammal ,treats us better than we treat them, thats for sure !
I wonder how well they can see our kayaks, I know, or think I know that I have been missed on purpose or "checked out"-they must know objects are near them just like we do when we walk down a path etc...

That whale knew exactly what it was doing.

They're lucky it didn't give them even a flick of its fluke. That would have sent them flying. And from the tones of their voices it didn't sound like they fully understood the potential danger of their situation. Good on the whale for not clobbering them.

+1 the whales in front of Moss do tricks for the boats. They are really intelligent creatures, no doubt about that.
